Bijou Sarah Kobinali is a member of Initiative of Women in Coffee and Cocoa/IFCCA DRC organization. This company works in the processing of coffee and cocoa in the Goma town, capital city of North-Kivu province. This woman reveals that her work helps her to thrive financially. She contributes to the well-being of the population with coffee and cocoa which brings many benefits to consumers.
According to Bijou Sarah Kazi, this work of producing and seling coffee and cocoa helps to cover her expenses: «This work is very necessary for me, because after producing and selling coffee and cocoa, I find myself. However, we have a problem in the cultivation and sale of coffee, in particular the packages still causes us problems and the population in our area who is not accustomed to our products», she said.
To conclude, Bijoux Sarah encourages all women to have determination in their work even to face certain difficulties. On the other side, she begs men to support their wives in the work they do.
«To all these women who do nothing, I encourage them to work, to have determination because women are strength. I call upon all these men who do not like their wives to work, to give these women a chance to work even in the informal sector,» did she conclude.
